MUSIC DIRECTOR

First United Methodist Church, Lufkin, Texas, seeks full-time music director who has a passion for helping people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ in the United Methodist tradition.  Skills and experience with both traditional and contemporary worship preferred.  Includes groups such as chancel choir, handbells, praise band. CHURCH ORGANIST/

PIANIST

NURSERY WORKER

First United Methodist Church, Lufkin, Texas seeks to hire a part-time nursery worker who has a passion for young children and has experience in caring for them. This person should also have the desire to help children learn about the love of Jesus through play and lessons while providing for the physical, emotional, and intellectual care and safety of children ages 0-4 years while working in the church nursery. Background and Safe Sanctuary Training required. Must be a team member on a staff and work with young children and their families. Salary will be $15.00 an hour with an average of 3 hours per week, with the possibility of more on an as needed basis.
