Following 25 years in the funeral business, Mark joined the CLC staff as Interim Director January 1994 and became the Director in March that year.  In November 2006 he became the Church Administrator. He and his wife of 29 years, Doran have a son Clay, who resides in Las Vegas, NV after returning from Iraq where he served as a member of the US Marine Corp, and a daughter Annie who is the Youth Director for Klien UMC in Spring, TX following her graduation from UTSA.  Mark graduated from Lufkin High School in 1971, returned to college in 1990, and received his BA from SFA in 1993.
