I was born in Louisiana but have lived in various parts of Texas most all of my life. I graduated from Knippa High School in 1987 being in the top five of my class (graduating class of five). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Concordia University in Austin in 1991.

I married Rick in 1992 in Austin. We moved to Lufkin eight years ago due to Rick’s job with the Lufkin Fire Department. We are proud parents of Trey who was born in October 1, 2002 and owners of 5 cats.

Prior to working at the church, I worked at ECI (Equity Corporation International) as their Risk Manager. This current August, I have been program secretary for three years and Editor of the Visitor for two and half years.

I enjoy reading, puzzles, traveling, putting together wedding albums, and taking pictures or video at fire scenes.

I like working at the church and I get to meet and to see lots of people. I really enjoy doing the Visitor newsletter. “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.” Philippians 4:13.
