Ila has been Library Director at FUMC beginning June 1, 1993 and continues to serve in that capacity.

Prior to FUMC, Ila was Circulation Supervisor, and later Business Manager at Kurth Memorial Library in Lufkin, Texas, the total of which spanned seven years. Previous employment included Lufkin Foundry and Machine(Lufkin Industries), Lufkin National Bank (Regions Bank) and various locations in Wisconsin.

Ila is married to Bob and has one grown daughter and three grandchildren.
